Benjamin Moore Color of the Year – Raspberry Blush

Raspberry Blush, in Benjamin Moore’s words, is “a vivacious shade of coral with pink.” The end result is a strong warm pink tone that leans red. It’s certainly a unique color and a solid option if you’re looking for something that stands out from the crowd.

That seems to be a common thread with this year’s Color of the Year options. Instead of leaning into neutral colors that match almost anything, each company has committed to a bold color that looks to stand out. It’s certainly more eye-catching than the popular gray colors we often see in people’s homes.

What Colors Pair With Raspberry Blush?

Benjamin Moore recommends four of their colors to pair with Raspberry Blush. Etiquette and White Heron are both off-white colors, Gray Owl is a gray option (naturally), and Onyx is a charcoal color. All of these pair well with Raspberry Blush because they are high contrast, which makes Raspberry Blush appear more vibrant.

Where Would Raspberry Blush Look Good?

Raspberry Blush is a bold choice, so it’s certainly going to get attention in whatever room you put it in. However, Raspberry Blush will probably look best in powder rooms, living rooms, or other public spaces with lots of natural daylight.

Because it’s a warmer tone, having the color in natural daylight will help the color pop. Because of its vibrancy, this really wouldn’t be a good color for bedrooms

Unlike Redend Point, Sherwin Williams’ Color of the Year, Raspberry Blush is a highly saturated color. That makes it a great option for focal points, but it isn’t the best option if you want a room or section to blend. However, that does make it a solid option for accent walls.
